Tariffs and conditions bicycle rent

Amsterdam's Scootercity is located in the heart of the city centre of Amsterdam, open 6 days a week! Click on this link.

1.BUSINESS HOURS

-Mon./fri. from: 09:30-18:00 hours

-Saturday from: 09:30-17:00 hours

-After 15 min. before closing time it is no longer possible to bring back your bike.

2.DEPOSIT

-Copy passport/ID/driving license + € 50,- per bike (reservation on your creditcard).

-Not valid: visa electron and debet cards.

3.INSURANCE

-The insurance covers theft of the bike and/or damage to the bike.

-With insurance you retain an excess of € 50,-

-Without insurance you pay the replacement value of the stolen bike of € 529,-

-The excess of theft only applies if you hand in the keys of the bike at Amsterdam's Scootercity.

-In case of theft you must report this to the police yourself. Amsterdam's Scootercity receives a copy of the declaration.

4.BIKELOCKS

-Each bike has 2 locks. Never leave the keys in the lock and always lock the bike properly.

-Amsterdam's Scootercity shows how the locks should be used.

5.GENERAL

-1 day counts as 24 hours or a part of it (minimal 3 hours)

-Always take the copy of the contract with you when you bring back the bike.

-If you have problems with your bike, go to one of the three establishments of Amsterdam's Scootercity.

Amsterdam's Scootercity doesn't reimburse any repairs performed by other companies.
